Once Upon a time.

I wrote of a boy
My blood as ink.
Page after page.
The dawn I see.

The heaven pauses.
The touch of breeze.
The story of the night unfolds.
The sound of sea.

Let darkness forgive light.
Let day forgive night.
Let the birds of the air sing David’s song.
Melodies that quench fire.
Drops of heavenly rhythm.

At last! the earth receives my sacrifice.
Something pure and true.
Clouds of glory.
Rain of heavenly blessings
I receive.
