We will select submissions based on the following key criteria:

• Continuity: We will check that your chapter builds naturally from the previous one and maintains consistency in characters, setting, and tone.

• Creativity: We will look for original ideas, unexpected twists, and emotional depth that bring something new and engaging to the story.

• Writing Quality: We will review your grammar, sentence structure, pacing, and overall readability to ensure the chapter flows clearly and professionally.

• Engagement: We will favor chapters that keep readers hooked through suspense, strong dialogue, or vivid atmosphere.

• Word Count: We will verify that your chapter meets the minimum requirement of 1,500 words.

In the follow-up email, we’ll send you a feedback form where you’ll enter your preferred bank details. After we select and verify your chapter, we’ll transfer ₦5000 directly to the account you provided.

If we select your chapter submission, we’ll contact you via email within two days of your submission. Once you respond and confirm your identity and participation, we’ll process your payment immediately.

We created this project as a fun and creative experiment to see if multiple authors can build one seamless, evolving story, each chapter adding a new twist, voice, or direction. It’s also a great way for us to showcase writing talent and spark community collaboration.

If this first edition performs well and receives strong engagement, we’ll scale the project up. That could mean bigger prizes, themed storylines, or even a full publication featuring all the selected chapters.
