Easy Steps!

1. Sign Up and Get Started

First things first, fill out the quick registration form. It’s like your ticket to the competition—just a few details and you're in!

2. Submit Your piece

Got your piece ready? Awesome! Upload your poetry, prose, or whatever you’ve got right into the same form. Hit submit, and let’s see what you’ve got!

3. Chill While We Review

Sit back and relax for a day or two while we check out your work. We’ll send you an email letting you know when your piece is up on the site. Your words are about to shine!

4. Get RATINGS, Win It!

Once your piece is live, it’s time for the fun part—ratings! Let the world show some love, and on the 27th, the winner of the competition will be selected and given the ₦30,000 prize.

Be sure to go through the following rules before filling the form below

All submissions must be original works. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification. Make sure your piece is 100% your own!
All registration forms must be submitted before voting begins on the 10th of the month. Late registrations will not be eligible for that month’s competition.
Voting will open on the 10th and close on the 25th of the month. Make sure to spread the word and get your friends and family to vote/rate your work!
The winner will be announced on the 27th of the month. While votes and comments do play a role in bringing the judge's attention to your work, the winner is chosen based on merit and not just votes.
All submitted pieces will be deleted from our archives once the competition ends unless you request otherwise in your registration form. If you'd like your piece to be kept for future reference or display, let us know in the form.
