The Oozezi app · Beta

Oozezi, on your iPhone

The Oozezi app is nearly ready for the App Store. Until it's there, you're welcome to try it early through TestFlight, Apple's own way of sharing an app before it's out. It's free, and it's the same Oozezi: the writing, the games and your Words, a little closer to hand.

How joining works

  1. 1
Confirm your email here. We send you a 6-digit code, and once you enter it your link appears on this page. We email it to you too.
  2. 2
Install TestFlight on your iPhone, from the App Store. It's free, and made by Apple. Get TestFlight
  3. 3
Open your link on the same iPhone, tap Accept, then Install. Oozezi will be on your Home Screen. Sign in there with the same email, and your Words and games come with you.

For now the app is for iPhone only.

What's in the app

  • Read: poems and stories one at a time, at reading pace, and collections laid out as books.
  • Compete: The Last Word, the Poetrymine, Fan-Written Fiction, The Stage and the writing challenges.
  • Play: Echo, The Whisper Line and The Manuscript Mystery, with your Oozezi Words.
  • Write: send a piece from your phone and follow it until it's published.
  • Stay close: widgets for your Home Screen, and matches and rounds on your Lock Screen.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The beta is free, TestFlight is free, and nothing is sold in the app.

Do I need an account?

No. You sign in to the app with your email and a 6-digit code, the same way as on the website, so your Oozezi Words and games come with you.

What do you do with my email?

We use it to send you the link and, if the beta is full, to tell you when there's room. Nothing else. You can take yourself off the list on this page, or from the email, at any time.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. For now the beta is for iPhone.

TestFlight says the beta is full. What now?

TestFlight lets only so many people in through one link. Come back to this page: if there's room again your link will be here, and if not, write to info@oozezi.com and we'll help.

How do I tell you what I think?

Take a screenshot while you're in the app, and TestFlight will offer to send it to us with a note. Or write to info@oozezi.com. We read every one.

How long does a test version last?

Each one lasts 90 days, and TestFlight brings you the next as it comes. Once the app is in the App Store, you can install it from there instead.
