The Manuscript Mystery
Solve a real piece from the Poetry & Prose Hub together, one short phrase at a time.
- No account needed — anyone can participate. Add a nickname if you want credit in the feed.
- Every phase is pulled from a different, randomly picked piece on the Poetry & Prose Hub. If you happen to know one of them by heart, sure — that's an edge. But it only helps on that one phase, and only if you're fast enough to beat everyone else to the answer (writer included). Can you out-race the person who wrote it?
- There are 5 phases, each a different word puzzle: fill in a blank, name the next word, find a line number, find a verse number, or count the total words in the whole piece — shuffled into a random order each game.
- The first correct answer solves that phase for everyone, and the mystery moves to the next clue.
- You can submit one answer every 2 hours from this browser.
- The prize pot climbs by ₦5,000 for every phase the crowd solves.
- Solve them all, and every piece involved gets revealed as a bonus — though you never had to work out what any of them were.
- ⚠️ Whoever solves the final phase wins the whole pot and gets a one-time claim code, shown only on their own device — it will not be shown again anywhere, so save it immediately (screenshot it) and use it on the Payment Details page to receive your prize.
